I Love Telling Stories

Come with me back in time to The West Village of the 1960s

The tour will start at the Arch in Washington Square Park. We will begin with discussing the history of queer homeless youth of the 60's and other stories from that time. Will will then walk down 8th Street toward the Women's House of Detention, telling stories about the West Village hangouts. Arriving at at the House of D site, which is now a garden, you will hear stories about what it was like to be arrested and jailed here, From there, we will head towards The Stonewall Inn on Christopher St and talk about the night of June 28,

I am always open to questions and love sharing my stories. You will not find this history in any books and is often overlooked as it is the underbelly of the queer culture of the 60's.
